In the market for your attention, this is little more than another linkblog, a list of things consumable via the Internet. Because that’s important.

If you’d like to get in touch with me, enter a comment to this page using the form below, or practically any other page in this blog. It’ll generate an email to me, and I’ll get back with you.

Hell yeah.

Hell yeah.

Horribly Yours,

  1. Hello doctorfrog, I’ve got a question about something you posted recently in a netbook gaming discussion. Would you mind shooting me an email about it?

  2. Sorry to bug you for something like this, but is your avatar/custom title/whatever from a real game? If so, what is it?

  3. Sorry for the delay in replying. The avatar is put together with sprites from the Oryx roguelike tileset, created for TigSource’s Assemblee competition. It’s not from a specific game, but those tiles are freely available for game developers, and were used in several of the games for that competition.

If you want to play a game that looks similar to the avatar, try Powder. If you want to try one of the best roguelikes around, try Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup.

See this post for more information: http://drfrog.wordpress.com/2010/03/15/marchroguelikes/

  4. Ah, thanks for the reply, and sorry for the late reply of my own. I’ve totally been playing DCSS for a while now, and I occasionally read the thread on SA for it. Sadly I don’t really play it often enough not to suck at it!

  5. You should get PMs. Flash games should probably go in the thread in PYF (currently on the third page of it), not the freeware thread. Orisinal is cool though.
